Historic Multi-Family
Built in 1905 as a duplex, this building had been divided into 4 apartments and neglected over the years. The project restored the facade and the interiors while updating the plans for modern living and adding private entries and porches for each unit.
As a result of the energy-conscious renovation, this project earned the National Association of Home Builders Emerald rating, the first in the country for a Multi-family Renovation. It additionally won a Historical Society of Princeton Preservation Award for its context-sensitive approach to green design and renovation.
